National Resistance museum to be set up in Milan

To be housed in second Herzog pyramid

(ANSA) - Milan, December 9 - A national museum on the WWII Resistance movement will be set up in Milan, Culture Minister Dario Franceschini and Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala announced Monday.
    The museum will be situated in piazzale Baiamonti, in the northern city's second pyramid designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron, to be built opposite the existing first one housing the Feltrinelli Foundation, they said.
    The culture ministry will earmark a further 15 million euros, on top of 2.5 million already set aside for the project.
