(ANSA) - Genoa, August 16 - Italian rail company Trenitalia on Friday cancelled 23 regional trains due to staff shortages in Liguria.
Trenitalia said it was laying on replacement bus services and adding extra stops to subsequent trains to "guarantee mobility in the region".
The cancellations were due to "a lack of availability of on board staff", it said.
