Noemi breathing and eating unassisted says medical bulletin

(ANSA) - Naples, May 20 - A four-year-old girl hit in the chest during a suspected mafia hit in Naples earlier this month is now "out of danger', hospital, sources said Monday.
    Noemi became collateral damage in the May 3 shooting when a bullet perforated her lungs and lodged in her ribs.
    She is no longer in a life-threatening condition, according to a bulletin from Naples' Santobuono Hospital.
    "She is conscious, breathing and eating autonomously," said the bulletin.
    Noemi no longer needs the assistance of oxygen, it said.
    "Her vital parameters are stable and the clinical picture is improving. The 'quoda vitam' prognosis has been lifted.
    "The next bulletin will be issued in seven days"
