(ANSA) - Rome, May 20 - The world's first gym for
sight-impaired kids has been set up in Italy, the Genoa-based
Italian Institute for Technology (IIT) said Monday.
"We are developing new technologies based on multi-sensory
systems which, via the contemporaneous use of hearing and touch,
allow children to make new high-tech use of traditional
rehabilitative tools," the IIT's Monica Gori told ANSA.
