(ANSA) - Rome, May 7 - Premier Giuseppe Conte said Tuesday he
hoped to soon meet eastern Libyan strongman General Khalifa
Haftar.
"In all my talks," he said after meeting Libyan Premier Fayez
al-Sarraj, "I am continuing to insist that the military option
does not lead to any stable solution".
Haftar has launched an offensive on Sarraj's UN-backed
government in Tripoli.
