(ANSA) - Rome, April 8 - The rightwing populist League party
claimed the top three spots in an annual poll of Italy's most
popular governors for the Il Sole 24 Ore business daily.
Veneto Governor Luca Zaia came top with a popularity rate of
62% followed by Friuli's Massimiliano Fedriga with 51.1% and
Lombardy's Attilio Fontana with 49.2%.
