(ANSA) - Rome, March 12 - Premier Giuseppe Conte has taken
over the European Affairs brief following the resignation of
former European affairs minister Paolo Savona on March 8 to
become new head of bourse regulator CONSOB, the premier's office
said Tuesday.
There is no need for an interim minister because the European
Affairs portfolio is a temporary department of the premiership
handed to a minister without portfolio, a statement said.
