BNL chief Abete indicted for usury

(ANSA) - Cagliari, February 21 - The president of Banca Nazionale del Lavoro (BNL), Luigi Abete, was indicted for usury on Thursday.
    Abete was sent to trial despite the prosecutor in the case asking for it to be shelved.
    The case stems from a company that complained it was asked to pay interest rates above the legal limit.
