(ANSA) - Ciampino, February 20 - Ciampino Aiport reopened
Wednesday after air quality was deemed to have returned to
normal after a small fire on Tuesday, the Aeroporti di Roma
company announced.
Departures so far Wednesday, about 50 in all, had been moved
to Fiumicino Aiport.
Smoke was detected Tuesday morning due to a fire in storage
space under a duty-free area.
Firefighters quickly put out the fire.
