(ANSA) - Rome, January 16 - A woman who ran over and killed a
tramp in Rome on January 7 has been caught, police said
Wednesday.
The woman was said to be a 56-year-old Italian.
She allegedly ran over Nereo Murari, a Verona-born homeless
man who was popular in the area, in Corso d'Italia.
The woman told police Wednesday she felt something hit the
car but didn't think it was a person.
Her car has been seized.
Its windshield and windscreen wipers have been replaced
recently, police said.
