(ANSA) - Genoa, December 17 - The State attorney's office on
Monday authorized the dismantling of the western part of the
Morandi bridge while its seizure "remains in place".
The measure was aimed at ensuring that the parts of the
collapsed bridge that will be removed will remain in the same
area so technicians investigating the deadly collapse can
analyze them.
A huge section of the bridge collapsed in August in a
disaster that claimed 43 lives.
