(ANSA) - Rome, December 7 - Matteo Dall'Osso, an MP who
suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), said Friday
that he was quitting the 5-Star Movement (M5S) and joining
Silvio Berlusconi's opposition, centre-right Forza Italia party.
"First they used me, then they made fun of me: I can no
longer stay with the 5 Stars," Dall'Osso said in an interview
with daily newspaper Il Giornale.
"I'm leaving the M5S group and joining Forza Italia...
"I felt alone, in part betrayed, humiliated. They treated me
badly".
M5S Lower House whip Francesco D'Uva expressed dismay.
"I am very disappointed about this decision," he said.
"We fought together for five years and now I find him in FI.
"It is more of a problem on a human level than a political
one.
"We are shook up because of the affection we have for him".
