(ANSA) - Pavia, December 6 - A 18-year-old man stabbed his mother overnight following an argument at the family home in Broni, in the province of Pavia, and then cut his own throat, sources said on Thursday. The son is in a critical condition in the intensive care department of Pavia's San Matteo hospital.
The 43-year-old mother is in the same hospital and, while her condition is serious, it is not thought to be life-threatening, the sources said.
