(ANSA) - Bewrgamo, December 4 - A 61-year-old pensioner with no criminal record turned to pushing cocaine near Bergamo in order to "put something aside to pay for my funeral" after getting some bad news from the doctor, he told a fast-track trial Tuesday.
The case was reminiscent, a judge said, of cult TV serial Breaking Bad where a struggling and depressed high school chemistry teacher with lung cancer turns to a life of crime by producing and selling crystal meth to secure his family's financial future before he dies.
