French gendarmes checked Italians - Spataro

(ANSA) - Turin, October 26 - Special forces in the French gendarmerie stopped and checked two Italians in Italian territory on August 2, Turin Chief Prosecutor Armando Spataro said Thursday.
    He said his office would issue a European investigative warrants on the incident, which comes after gendarmes have been accused of dropping migrants back over the border in the area, at Claviere.
    The two Italians said they had been stopped by four armed men at Gimont near Claviere.
