Man confesses to killing neighbour, 90, with iron bar

(ANSA) - Biella, October 18 - A 34-year-old Italian man on Wednesday night confessed to killing his 90-year-old neighbour with an iron bar he had found on a riverbank near Biella northwest of Milan.
    Lorenzo Osella said he killed pensioner Dino Baglioni and then put him in his bed so as to make people think he had died a natural death.
    But a medical examiner found signs of several fractures to the skull.
    The murder took place in the victim's home at Pralungo.
    Police think Baglioni may have surprised Osella while he was burglarising his apartment.
