Marche's Carlotta Maggiorana is the new Miss Italy

(ANSA) - Rome, September 18 - Marche native Carlotta Maggiorana is the new Miss Italy.
    The 26-year-old prevailed in the final of the competition on Monday ahead of Campania's Fiorenza D'Antonio.
    Chiara Bordi, an 18-year-old who was the victim of online haters after becoming the first disabled Miss Italy contestant, came third.
    Bordi, from Tarquinia near Rome, lost her leg in a car crash a couple of years ago.
