(ANSA) - Vatican City, September 12 - Pope Francis said Wednesday that he would like to visit Japan next year. "Taking advantage of this visit, I'd like to announce my desire to visit Japan next year," the Argentine pontiff said during a meeting with the Japanese Tensho Kenoho Shisetsu Kenshokai Association before his weekly general audience.
"I hope I can do so".
