Brescia probe into spate of pneumonia cases

(ANSA) - Brescia, September 10 - Brescia prosecutors have opened a probe into a mysterious spate of recent pneumonia cases in the northern province, sources said Monday. Carabinieri NAS health cops are collecting data on contagion patterns and are working with the local health authority.
    The number of people to have gone to hospital emergency rooms in the area with suspected pneumonia climbed to 148 on Monday, the sources said.
