Austria to propose soldiers to support Frontex

(ANSA) - Vienna, August 29 - The Austrian duty president of the European Defence Council, Defence Minister Mario Kunasek, will tomorrow present his colleagues with a proposal to deploy EU soldiers in support of Frontex, ANSA has learned from diplomatic sources.
    They would this be under a civilian lead, the sources said.
    The soldiers would be used for logistics, transport, reconnaissance and in particular cases in border control operations to stem migrant flows, the sources said.
