(ANSA) - Venice, August 24 - A 15-year-old girl was raped by
"a foreigner" on a beach at Jesolo near Venice Thursday, her
family told police.
The girl was on holiday in the popular tourist resort.
A local minors' court has opened a probe on the basis of the
family's complaint.
Jesolo Mayor Valerio Zoggia voiced "shock and dismay" at the
incident.
