(ANSA) - Rome, April 26 - Former Italian president Giorgio Napolitano's condition is improving after he had to undergo emergency heart surgery at Rome's San Camillo hospital late on Tuesday.
Napolitano's successor, President Sergio Mattarella, visited the 92-year-old on Wednesday. Napolitano was president between 2006 and 2015.
