(ANSA) - Florence, March 23 - A suspect container sprouting
wires in the flask-holder of a bicycle caused a brief bomb scare
at the US consulate in Florence on Friday.
A bomb squad opened the container with a water cannon and
found it contained only a battery with some loose wires.
The area was cordoned off for the operation.
