Giant pothole opens in Rome, two cars teetering (3)

(ANSA - Rome, March 22 - A "giant" pothole opened up in a Rome street on Thursday and left two parked cars teetering on its brink, sources said. The hole, said to be three by five metres wide and six metres deep, opened up on the Appia ring road.
    On March 13 a huge pothole opened up on the Gianicolense ring road, almost swallowing two parked cars.
