Look at cross to overcome 'deserts of life' - pope

(ANSA) - Vatican City, March 20 - Pope Francis said Tuesday the faithful should "loom at the cross" to help them get through "the deserts of life".
    Speaking at Mass in St Martha's House, the Vatican hostel he lives in, Francis said the crucifix could be a particular comfort "at difficult times, when the heart is depressed".
