Migrant centre near Venice searched (3)

(ANSA) - Venice, January 25 - Italian financial police on Thursday searched a migrant reception centre at Conetta near Venice as well as the offices of the cooperative that runs it and other firms linked to it. Prosecutors are probing suspected conspiracy to commit fraud in public supplies. Two officials at the Venice prefecture also had their offices searched on suspicion of breaching judicial secrecy.
