(ANSA) - Milan, January 24 - A Pavia court on Wednesday
recognised a 30-year-old transsexual's status as a woman despite
her obesity having stopped her from having a sex-change
operation.
The court said "the process and choice to change sex are
sufficient" to obtain the legal recognition.
