(ANSA) - Rome, November 16 - The fiscal decree linked to the
government's 2018 budget bill has been approved by the Senate
after winning a confidence vote on Thursday with 148 votes in
favour and 116 against.
The legislation now moves to the Lower House.
Senate Speaker Pietro Grasso, meanwhile, said at the end of a
meeting of party whips that the 2018 budget bill will not be
examined by the Upper House until November 27 - a postponement
of one week.
