Italy no longer bottom of EU class on growth- Gentiloni

(ANSA) - Rome, November 15 - Premier Paolo Gentiloni on Wednesday hailed the fact that Italy is no longer the European Union's worst performer on growth after statistics agency said GDP was set to increase by at least 1.5% this year.
    "After yesterday we are no longer the bottom of the class in Europe," Paolo Gentiloni said at the opening of the Università Cattolica's academic year. "We must be aware that the substance of the issue are not the figures, it is understanding that the country has started growing again, although this growth has not healed the wounds of the crisis.
    "It is not the solution but an opportunity".
