(ANSA) - Rome, November 13 - A wave of bad weather is battering Italy from North to South. Winds of up to 100km/h were registered on the coast of Trieste and intense gusts are also blowing in Trentino, Veneto and the province of Rome.
The wind blow over a tree that hit a parked car in the capital.
Snow fell on the Appennines in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, prompting the rail operator to launch a special plan.
Snow flakes fell in Bologna too and temperatures were close to zero in Turin. Intense winds also hit Sardinia, while a boat sank in rough waters in the regional capital of Cagliari. The weather disrupted sea links to the islands of Capri and Elba.
