Raise pension age or undermine employment - Boeri

(ANSA) - Milan, November 10 - Pension and social security agency INPS chief Tito Boeri on Friday reiterated a warning that unless Italy's pension age is raised employment will be "undermined".
    He said "if we don't fit the pension age to life expectancy we will raise the tax and contributions burden weighing on workers and therefore we'll destroy employment".
    There has recently been talk of putting off, by six months, a hike in the retirement age to 67 in 2019.
