(ANSA) - Rome, November 10 - Sergio Pirozzi, mayor of
quake-hit central Italian village Amatrice, said Friday he would
run for governor of the Lazio region around Rome.
Pirozzi said he would enjoy the support of many mayors and
professional people.
He said he had informed Italy's centre-right and rightwing
parties of his decision.
