Police start new training on cases of violence against women

Particularly domestic abuse cases

(ANSA) - Rome, November 8 - Police have started permanent courses to train officers to deal more effectively with cases of violence against women, in particular domestic abuse, deputy police chied Francesca Romana Capaldo told a Lower House meeting on women chaired by Speaker Laura Boldrini.
    Training includes protocols police officers will need to follow in abuse cases, including specific rules concerning domestic violence, Capaldo said.
