(ANSA) - Rome, October 10 - Italian industrial production continued on a path of "sustained expansion" in August, increasing 1.2% with respect to July, ISTAT said on Tuesday.
The national statistics said that production was up 5.7% with respect to August 2016 according to calendar adjusted data (5.6% unadjusted), thus registering the seventh consecutive rise.
