Soccer: De Rossi an injury risk for WC qualifiers

(ANSA) - Rome, October 2 - Daniele De Rossi took a knock to his right knee in AS Roma's 2-0 win at AC Milan Sunday and the midfielder is an injury risk for Italy's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Albania, sources said Monday.
    PSG's Marco Verratti and Torino's Andrea Belotti are already out of the qualifiers, from which Italy only needs a point to qualify for next year's tournament in Russia. Italy is set to qualify behind leaders Spain and will therefore have to go through a play-off to secure final qualification.
