(ANSA) - Rome, September 27 - Rome municipal waste
management company AMA on Wednesday signed its first-ever deal
with the Colari consortium of 'rubbish czar' Manlio Cerroni
which runs the huge Malagrotta dump despite being under an
anti-mafia restraining order.
Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi described the deal, which aims to
ease the Italian capital's rubbish woes, as "historic".
