(ANSA) - Rome, August 23 - Rome has got its fourth budget councillor in a year after an anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) member moved to the Italian capital from the M5S administration in Livorno.
Gianni Lemmetti thus joins the troubled administration of M5S Rome Mayor Virgina Raggi, who has struggled with resignations, dismissals and probes since her landslide victory over the ruling centre-left Democratic Party (PD) 14 months ago.
The PD said Lemmetti's appointment was another sign of the turmoil engulfing the Raggi administration.
"It's another negative record for Raggi," they said.
