Officers to be armed off-duty too - CASA (2)

(ANSA) - Rome, August 23 - The strategic anti-terror analysis committee (CASA) has urged police to carry their service weapons off-duty too in the wake of the Barcelona attacks. "Prompt intervention could help limit damage", said the recommendation made the day after the attacks. The attacks in Barcelona and the nearby resort of Cambrils killed 15 people.
