(ANSA) - Berlin, August 23 - European Central Bank President
Mario Draghi on Wednesday defended quantitative easing (QE)
saying "ample empirical research has affirmed the success of
these policies in supporting the economy and inflation, both in
the eurozone and in the USA". Draghi has been successfully using
QE to boost the eurozone economy's recovery over the last two
years.
