(ANSA) - Bologna, July 14 - A symbol of Bologna, the
steepling Renaissance Torre degli Asinelli, reopened after a
long restoration on Friday.
The iconic structure, one of two famed towers in the city
centre, has had its staircase reinforced and its terrace
revamped.
The restoration comes amid a boom in visitors to the ancient
Emilian capital.
