(ANSA) - Rome, June 26 - Democratic Party (PD) leader and
ex-premier Matteo Renzi on Monday downplayed the PD's defeat in
local elections Sunday, posting a Youtrend survey of mayors
elected in towns with more than 15,000 voters showing the centre
left winning 67, the centre right 59, civic lists 20, the
anti-establishment 5-Star Movement eight, the centre two and the
left two.
