Three traffickers suspected of rape, murder held

(ANSA) - Agrigento, May 11 - There Nigerian nationals accused of human trafficking, homicide, rape, and kidnapping for extortion were detained by police in the Sicilian city of Agrigento on Thursday, sources said. The three landed in the southern Italian island of Lampedusa on April 16. Prosecutors cited aggravating factors, including the transnational nature of the crimes, use of weapons, cruelty and futile motives.
