Soccer: Serie A to play Dec 23 and 30, Jan 6

(ANSA) - Rome, April 14 - Serie A will play on December 23 and 30 as well as January 6 for the first time next season, the League has decided in a long-awaited move to fill the holiday calendar to resemble the fixture list in other leagues like England. Hitherto Italian soccer players have enjoyed Christmas and New Year holidays almost as long as the majority of their fans.
