(ANSA) - Vatican City, April 11 - US President Donald Trump
has not yet asked to see Pope Francis when he visits Italy for a
G7 summit at Taormina at the end of May, Vatican spokesman Greg
Burke said Tuesday.
Tuesday's Financial Times said Trump would be the first US
president since Franklin D. Roosevelt to make his first trip to
Italy without seeing the pope.
