(ANSA) - Rome, March 27 - Italy's public finances "worsened"
under Silvio Berlusconi, Mario Monti and Enrico Letta before
improving under his own rule, ex-premier Matteo Renzi said
Monday.
"We were more rigorous without being supine to Brussels,"
said the former leader of the Democratic Party (PD), who is
expected to be re-elected PD leader soon.
