Soccer: Italy mustn't mess up against Albania-Ventura

Coach says Azzurri not afraid before clash with De Biasi's side

(ANSA) - Florence, March 20 - Italy coach Gian Piero Ventura said Monday that his men cannot afford to mess up Friday's World Cup qualifier against Albania in Palermo.
The Azzurri are joint top of European qualifying group G alongside Spain with 10 points from four games, one more than third-placed Israel and four more than fourth-placed Albania, who are coached by Italian Gianni De Biasi.
"We are not afraid but we are all aware of how much this match counts for," Ventura told reporters.
"After four months (of no internationals), I have found what I left behind - a group of players who have a great desire to do well.
"This makes me feel serene, even though I know that we must not mess up on Friday". Italy will also take on the Netherlands in a friendly in Amsterdam next week.
