(ANSA) - Rome, January 20 - The Bank of Italy on Friday
confirmed growth estimates of 0.9% in both 2016 and 2017 and
1.1% in 2018 and 2019. It said these forecasts would hold firm
if structural reforms went ahead and the spread between Italian
and German 10-year bond yields held steady. The BoI said
protectionism would be a threat to world growth.
