(ANSA) - Vatican City, January 2 - Pope Francis urged bishops to "protect the innocent" and not forget priestly child abuse in a letter to bishops on December 28, the Vatican said Monday.
Francis asked bishops for "the courage to protect the infancy from the new Herods of our times, who devour the innocence of our children".
