Orban says ready to veto migrant quotas (2)

(ANSA) - Budapest, October 28 - Hungarian Premier Viktor Orban said Friday he was ready to veto the EU's compulsory migrant distribution quotas and said he would if necessary "file a suit" against the European Commission at the European Court of Justice. He called the quotas "a toad" that "the bigger EU members are trying to make us swallow". Orban vowed a "big battle" against the quotas and called on the Slovakian EU duty presidency to take them off the agenda of a December summit.
