Council staff clock-in cheats nabbed in Sulmona

(ANSA) - L'Aquila, October 25 - Italian police on Tuesday nabbed several council employees in the Abruzzo town of Sulmona for clocking in to work fraudulently only to go about their own business.
    Some went home to eat, some went to the bar, some went shopping and some went on dates, police said.
    It was the latest of a string of such cases around Italy.
    A city councillor called the case "disconcerting".
